Title: Johnny Cash & Willie Nelson - VH1 Story Tellers       Rating: 4.3/5

This is probably the best sounding CD you can buy for $ 2 bucks on EBAY.   I paid $ 1.99 plus $ 7.00 in shipping and handling.

A superb live recording of two country music legends.   I have received a number of good feedbacks on this recommendation.

I am not a big fan of country music, but I find music very enjoyable.  Believe it or not it actually grows on you.  The recording quality is certainly better than many so-called Audiophile recordings.

I give it a well deserved 4.3 out of 5.

Title: Diamond & Rust in the Bullring - Joan Baez

                                                                                                Rating 3.2 / 5

Label: Gold Castle Records; BMW D 101176

Not an audiophile label by any means. This is a Live recording for a performance in a Spanish bullring. A very realistic reproduction of the live performance. Joan Baez version of the Famous Blue Raincoat scored more points in my book than Jennifer Warnes version in her “famous blue rain coat” album.

Title: The Weavers - Reunion at Carnegie Hall

                                                                                               Rating: 4.2 /5

Label: Vanguard Records  VMD-2150

Funny how the order in which the performers are standing on the front cover of the CD, is exactly the order in which you will hear from your system.

It is a superb live recording done at Carnegie hall in 1963.  Pete Seeger's track on the song Guantanamera is my favorite.   The LP verison of this has been on Harry Pearson's list for years.    This will be a great test for your system's ability to present proper stage imaging and ambience of a live recording.
