Comments from Visitors:

Always a memorable fun filled time at chez Cosmo.   Its always educational checking out the collectibles and vintage gear. Also listening Chantal on the Magnavox tube amps was a real eye/ear opener. Nice score for $75 which once again reinforces that the key to high end audiophilia is knowledge and good taste not dollars. Talk about a natural intimate jazzy presentation. No layers of sound required to imagine the chantreuse standing 4 feet away.

The other surprise was the MoFi Beatles remasters. I must have heard those tunes a thousand times but never with that feeling of being beside them in the studio, I'm still hearing those harmonies from "There's A Place". Thanks for the ear worm Cosmo.

I would like to thank Cosmo for putting together such a great evening. The music memorabilia, in particular the juke boxes were a treat to look at, listen to and photograph.
I was absolutely amazed by the sound quality of the your "new" mono amps, made even CDs sound good, not an easy task :-)

Comments from Cosmo:

I started listening to 45 's when I was 12 years with an old Seabreeze record player down in our basement in Goose Village . The disease spread and 51 years later it still is not under control. Fortunately it's not fatal , unless they come up with a study and find out the chemicals that are used in vinyl are carcinogenic, then I'm a doomed man.

There is also a madness to the makeup of that room. North side faces where I came in ( Gaeta , Italy) and the south side is where I will be exiting (Toronto harbour ). Interestingly enough , after 63 years , modern technology in audio has not really improved that much . I find myself facing and looking at where I am now - but listening to what was then.
